ਅਖੂਰੀ ਸਿਨਹਾ
ਅਖੂਰੀ ਸਿਨਹਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੂਲ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਵਿਗਿਆਨੀ ਹੈ। ਅੰਟਾਰਕਟੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਹਾੜ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਿਨਹਾ ਮਾਊਂਟ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਰਾਜ ਬਿਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਚੁਰਮਾਨਪੁਰ ਦਾ ਇਲਾਕਾ ਹੈ।[1][2]
