ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪੈਰਿਸ, ਫਰਾਂਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ, 1900 ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਖੇਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਖੇਲ ਸੀ । ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕਾਰ 1947 ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਦੇ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਖੇਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਨਹਾਂ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਖੇਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਆਜਾਦੀ ਨਾਂ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਵੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵੱਖਰੇ-ਵੱਖਰੇ ਸਕੋਰ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ । 1900 ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਲ੍ਹੋਂ ਨੋਰਮਨ ਪਰਿਟਚਰਡ ਖੇਲਿਆ ਸੀ ।
In 2005 the IAAF published the official track and field statistics for the 2004 Summer Olympics. In the historical records section Pritchard was listed as having competed for Great Britain in 1900. Research by Olympic historians has shown that Pritchard was chosen to represent Great Britain after competing in the British AAA championship in June 1900.[੧] The IOC still regard Pritchard as having competed for India.
