ਸਿਨੇਕਡਕੀ (Synecdoche) (/sɪˈnɛkdəkiː/, si-NEK-də-kee; ਯੂਨਾਨੀ ਤੋਂ συνεκδοχή, synekdoche, lit. "ਇੱਕੋ-ਵਕਤ ਸਮਝ")^[1] ਭਾਸ਼ਾ-ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਮੈਟੋਨਮੀ ਅਲੰਕਾਰ (ਕਿਸੇ ਵਸਤੂ ਜਾਂ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪੁਕਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਉਸ ਵਸਤੂ ਜਾਂ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੀਬ ਤੋਂ ਜੁੜੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਅੰਗ ਜਾਂ ਵਸਤੂ/ਵਰਤਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।) ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਿਨੇਕਡਕੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਗ ਜਾਂ ਅੰਗ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਲਈ ਜਾਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਗ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।^[2]
