ਏਡਮਜ਼ ਨੈਸ਼ਵਿਲ, ਟੇਨਸੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਹੋਈ।[2] ਉਸਨੇ ਨੇਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਜ ਮਰੀਨ ਕੋਰਪਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਕੋਰਪਸਮੈਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ।[3][4] ਫੌਜ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹੀ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਟਰਾਂਸਜੈਂਡਰ ਔਰਤ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਈ।
