ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਕੌਰ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਆਫ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਸਰਚ (PGIMER), ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ, ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਡੀਨ ਹਨ।[1][2] ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਪੇਡੋਡੌਂਟਿਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਵਾਰਕ ਦੰਦਸਾਜ਼ੀ (ISPPD) ਵਿੱਚ ਉਮਰ ਭਰ ਦੀ ਸਦੱਸਤਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹਨ।[3] ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਡੈਂਟਲ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ[4] ਅਤੇ ਦੀ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਆਫ਼ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਸਾਇੰਸਜ਼ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੋਧਕਾਰ ਹਨ।[5] ਉਹ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਦੇ ਸਦੱਸ ਰਹਿ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।[6][7]
PGIMER ਤੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਉਹ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਐਮੀਰੇਟਸ ਬਣ ਗਾਏ।[8] ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੀਅਰ-ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਰਸਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਲੇਖ ਲਿਖੇ [9][10] ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਕਿਤਾਬ, ਫ਼ਲੋਰਿਡਸ ਅਤੇ ਦੰਦ ਦੇ ਵਿਗਾੜ ਨੂੰ : ਇੱਕ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।[11] 1992 ਵਿੱਚ, ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਚੌਥਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਸਨਮਾਨ, ਪਦਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[12] ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਪੀਏਰ ਫੌਚਰਡ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਤਾ ਹਨ।[13] ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ [[ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ]] ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੇਖਕ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ, ਵੀ.ਐਨ. ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ, ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਿਆਸਤਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਹਿ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਤਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਵੀ.ਐਨ.ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੋਏ, ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ 1984 ਵਿੱਚ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।[14]
