ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਸਾਫ਼ਟਵੇਅਰ[1] ਇੱਕ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਫ਼ਟਵੇਅਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਰਤੋਂਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਰਜਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਮਕਸਦ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਣ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ਼ ਹੀ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਵਾਚਣ, ਤਬਦੀਲੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਵੰਡਣ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।[2][3][4][5]
