ਐੱਚ. ਹੇਮਲਤਾ
ਐੱਚ. ਹੇਮਲਤਾ (ਜਨਮ 1951)[1] ਆਂਧਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਿਆਸਤਦਾਨ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸਤਿਆਵੇਦੂ ਤੋਂ ਆਂਧਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਦੀ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਚਿਤੂਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਾਤੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਲਈ ਰਾਖਵੀਂ ਸੀ। ਸਤਿਆਵੇਦੂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕਾ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿਰੂਪਤੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੇਲਗੂ ਦੇਸ਼ਮ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ 2009 ਦੀਆਂ ਆਂਧਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਜਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ।[2]

[ਸੋਧੋ]ਹੇਮਲਤਾ ਆਂਧਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਚਿਤੂਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਸਤਿਆਵੇਦੂ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੁਬਰਟ ਐਡਵਰਡ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਧੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਹੈਲਨ ਹੈ, ਜੋ 2024 ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਟੀਡੀਪੀ ਦੀ ਹਲਕਾ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸੀ।[3] ਉਸ ਨੇ 1967 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਂਧਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਐਮਏ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ।[4]

[ਸੋਧੋ]ਹੇਮਲਤਾ ਨੇ 2009 ਦੀਆਂ ਆਂਧਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਲਗੂ ਦੇਸ਼ਮ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਤਿਆਵੇਦੂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਜਿੱਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ।[5] ਉਸ ਨੇ 65,471 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ, ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਕੇ. ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ 9,691 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਫਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾਇਆ।[6][7] ਦੋ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਟਿਕਟ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੰਬਰ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਤਿਆਵੇਦੂ ਹਲਕੇ ਲਈ ਟੀਡੀਪੀ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[8]
