ਕਿਸ਼ਿਨਊ (ਰੋਮਾਨੀਆਈ: Chișinău, ਉਚਾਰਨ [kiʃiˈnəw] (
ਸੁਣੋ); ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਤੌਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਸ਼ੀਨੇਵ, ਰੂਸੀ: Кишинёв, romanized: Kišinëv ਤੋਂ) ਮੋਲਦੋਵਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ[3], ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਕੇਂਦ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਕ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਜਨਵਰੀ 2012 ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਕ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ਼ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਢੁਕਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਅਬਾਦੀ 6,67,600 ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰਪਾਲਿਕਾ ਦੀ ਅਬਾਦੀ 7,94,800 ਹੈ।[2]
