ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ, ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਸੰਗਠਨ (ਯੁਨੈਸਕੋ) ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ (ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਜੰਗਲ, ਪਹਾੜ, ਝੀਲ, ਮਾਰੂਥਲ, ਸਮਾਰਕ, ਇਮਾਰਤ, ਭਵਨ ਸਮੂਹ ਜਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ) ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਯੁਨੈਸਕੋ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਜਾਂ ਭੌਤਿਕੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੂਚੀਬੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।[1] ਇਹ ਸੂਚੀ ਨੂੰ ਯੁਨੈਸਕੋ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਹੇਠ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ੨੧ ਮੁਲਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ[2] ਜੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਧਾਰਨ ਸਭਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚੁਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।[3]
