ਲਿਬਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਟਾਇਗਰਸ ਆਫ ਤਮਿਲ ਇਲਮ (ਤਮਿਲ: தமிழீழ விடுதலைப் புலிகள், ਸਿਨਹਾਲਾ: දෙමළ ඊළාම් විමුක්ති කොටි,ਇਸਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਲਿਟੇ ਜਾਂ ਤਮਿਲ ਟਾਇਗਰਜ਼ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ਉੱਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਲੰਕਾ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਤਮਿਲ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਵਾਦੀ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਸੀ। ਇਸਦਾ ਗਠਨ ਮਈ 1974 ਵਿੱਚ ਵੇਲੂਪਿਲਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਕਰਨ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਦੁਨਿਆ ਦੇ ਗੁਰੀਲਾ ਜੰਗ ਲੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦਾ ਟੀਚਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਲੰਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਮਿਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੇ ਚਲਦੇ ਹੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਲੰਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਜੰਗ ਛਿੜ ਗਈ, ਜਿਹੜੀ 1983 ਤੋਂ 2009 ਤੱਕ ਚੱਲੀ। ਇਸਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਲੰਕਾ ਦੀ ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਲਿਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਮਹਿੰਦਾ ਰਾਜਪਕਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਇਆ।
