ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਅਬਦੁੱਲਕਰੀਮ ਅਲੀ ਇੱਕ ਸੋਮਾਲੀ - ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨ ਲੇਖਕ ਹੈ।[1][2][3] ਅਲੀ ਨੇ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਵਿਚ ਬੇਘਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਨਾਹਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ, ਇਕ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ, ਐਂਗਰੀ ਕੁਈਰ ਸੋਮਾਲੀ ਬੁਆਏ ਲਿਖੀ ਸੀ।[4]
ਮੁੱਢਲਾ ਜੀਵਨ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਅਲੀ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 1985 ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਮਾਲੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਸੋਮਾਲੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।[5] ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਛੋਟਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਅਲੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ, ਮਤਰੇਈ ਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਤਰੇਈਆਂ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਬੂ ਧਾਬੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗਿਆ।[4] ਫਿਰ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਨੀਦਰਲੈਂਡਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਰਨਾਰਥੀ ਰੁਤਬੇ ਲਈ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਿਆ।
ਉਸਦੇ ਜਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਆ ਵਸਿਆ।[4] ਅਲੀ ਨੇ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਕੋਹਲ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।[6]

ਸੀ.ਬੀ.ਸੀ. ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੇਖ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਆਨ ਕੀਤਾ।[2]
'ਦ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ' ਨੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ "ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਐਲ.ਜੀ.ਬੀ.ਟੀ.ਕਿਉ. ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ" ਦੇ ਲੇਖ ਵਿਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।[7]
ਸੀ.ਬੀ.ਸੀ. ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਨੂੰ 2020 ਵਿਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ 'ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ।[3]
