ਯੋਗੀ ਆਦਿਤਿਆਨਾਥ (ਜਨਮ ਅਜੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਿਸ਼ਤ; 5 ਜੂਨ 1972),[6][1][7][lower-alpha 1][9] ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਸੰਨਿਆਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਸਤਦਾਨ ਹੈ ਜੋ 19 ਮਾਰਚ 2017 ਤੋਂ, ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ 21ਵੇਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਐਸਐਸ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੈਂਬਰ, ਆਦਿਤਿਆਨਾਥ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।[10][11]

ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਭਾਜਪਾ) ਨੇ 2017 ਦੀਆਂ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸਨੂੰ 26 ਮਾਰਚ 2017 ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਕ ਸੀ।[12][13][14] ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੇ 2022 ਦੀਆਂ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵੀ ਜਿੱਤੀਆਂ: ਅਦਿੱਤਿਆਨਾਥ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਿਹਾ, ਦਫਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ 5 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੱਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣੇ।

ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਹ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੂਜੀ ਵਾਰ (2022 ਤੋਂ) ਗੋਰਖਪੁਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹਨ। ਉਸਨੇ 2022 ਦੀ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣ ਗੋਰਖਪੁਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਫਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਤੀ। ਆਦਿਤਿਆਨਾਥ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ (2017-2022) ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਪ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਦ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਲਈ ਚੁਣੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਪ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਦ ਤੋਂ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਉਹ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 1998 ਤੋਂ 2017 ਤੱਕ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਪੰਜ ਵਾਰ ਗੋਰਖਪੁਰ ਹਲਕੇ, ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹਨ।[15]

ਆਦਿਤਿਆਨਾਥ ਗੋਰਖਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਮੱਠ, ਗੋਰਖਨਾਥ ਮੱਠ ਦੇ ਮਹੰਤ (ਮੁਖੀ ਪੁਜਾਰੀ) ਵੀ ਹਨ, ਇੱਕ ਅਹੁਦਾ ਉਹ ਸਤੰਬਰ 2014 ਤੋਂ ਮਹੰਤ ਅਵੈਦਿਆਨਾਥ, ਉਸਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਕ "ਪਿਤਾ" ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।[16] ਉਹ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਯੁਵਾ ਵਾਹਿਨੀ, ਇੱਕ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਵਾਦੀ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਦਾ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ ਵੀ ਹੈ।[17][18] ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਹਿੰਦੂਤਵੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਵਾਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਰੂੜੀਵਾਦੀ ਦਾ ਅਕਸ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।[19][1][20][21][22]
