I've worked at the intersection of culture and technology for over 20 years in a varied career spanning the Institute for the Future of the Book, the New York Public Library (NYPL Labs), and most recently, the Wikimedia Foundation, where I led the Community Programs team for 7+ years (now led by Fiona Romeo), and later served as Principal Strategist in the Community Growth team.
My work
I recently joined the GLAM-E Lab as a Research Fellow focused on lowering technical barriers to GLAM institutions seeking to share open collections effectively into the internet ecosystem. I'm also in the early stages of incubating a new venture focused on the future of the cultural commons, which I’ll start talking about more publicly as 2026 unfolds. I work globally from Philadelphia, USA.
