ਸ਼ੁਭਾ ਮੁਦਗਲ (ਜਨਮ 1959) ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰੀ ਸੰਗੀਤ, ਖਯਾਲ, ਠੁਮਰੀ, ਦਾਦਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਚੱਲਤ ਪਾਪ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਗਾਇਕਾ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 1996 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਤਮ ਗੈਰ - ਫੀਚਰ ਫਿਲਮ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬੀਜ ਲਈ,[2] 1998 ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਹੇਤੁ ਗੋਲਡ ਪਲਾਕ ਅਵਾਰਡ,[2] ਡਾਂਸ ਆਫ਼ ਦ ਵਿੰਡ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਲਈ (1997), ਅਤੇ 2000 ਵਿੱਚ ਪਦਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਅਨਹਦ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ।[3] and SAHMAT.[4]
ਮੁੱਢਲਾ ਜੀਵਨ
[ਸੋਧੋ]ਸ਼ੁਭਾ ਮੁਦਗਲ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 23 ਜੂਨ 1959 ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਯਾਗਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪੜੇ ਲਿਖੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।[5][6][7][8] ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ, ਸਕੰਦ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਯਾ ਗੁਪਤਾ, ਦੋਵੇਂ ਇਲਾਹਾਬਾਦ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰੀ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਲਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਦਿਲਚਸਪੀ ਸੀ।[9][10] ਸ਼ੁਭਾ ਦੇ ਦਾਦਾ ਪੀ. ਸੀ. ਗੁਪਤਾ ਵੀ ਇਲਾਹਾਬਾਦ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਸਨ।[11]
