ਅਲੀਸਿਆ ਪੈਟਰਸਨ (15 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ, 1906 – 2 ਜੁਲਾਈ, 1963) "ਨਿਊਜ਼ਡੇ" ਦੀ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਪਾਦਕ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਤਜ਼ਰ ਇਨਾਮ-ਜੇਤੂ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਹੈ। ਨੇਇਸਾ ਮੈਕਮੀਨ ਨਾਲ, ਇਸਨੇ 1943 ਵਿੱਚ ਡੈਥਲੈੱਟ ਡੀਅਰ ਕਾਮਿਕ ਸਟ੍ਰਿਪ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਅਲੀਸੀਆ ਐਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਸਫ਼ ਮਿਦਿੱਲ ਪੈਟਰਸਨ, ਨਿਊ ਯਾਰਕ ਡੇਲੀ ਨਿਊਜ਼ ਦਾ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ, ਦੀ ਧੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਜੋਸਫ਼ ਮਿਦਿੱਲ ,[1] ਦ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਗੋ ਟ੍ਰਿਬਿਊਨ[2][lower-alpha 1] ਦੀ ਪੜ-ਪੋਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਹਰਲੋਅ ਹਿਗਿਨਬੋਥਮ, ਜੋ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਗੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰਸ਼ਲ ਫੀਲਡਸ ਡਿਪਾਰਟਮੈਂਟ ਸਟੋਰ ਦਾ ਪਾਰਟਨਰ ਸੀ।[2][3] ਪੈਟਰਸਨ ਦੀ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਇਲੀਨਰ (1904–1984) ਅਤੇ ਜੋਸਫਿਨ (1913–1963) ਹੈ।[1]
ਵਿਆਹ[ਸੋਧੋ]
