ਕਰੋਨਾ ਮਹਾਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਖੇਤਰ ਇੱਕਦਮ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਤ ਹੋਏ।ਮਾਰਚ 2020 ਤੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਬੰਦ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਮੀ ਆਈ।ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕਈ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਦਲ ਵਜੋਂ ਡਿਜਿਟਲ ਅਤੇ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ।

2020 ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਤਿਮਾਹੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਰੋਨਾ ਮਹਾਮਾਰੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਕਈ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਬੰਦ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ। ਚੀਨ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਕੇ,ਪੂਰਬੀ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ, ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਬੰਦ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ -ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀਆਂ,[1] ਪੁਰਾਤਤਵ ,[2] ਅਜਾਇਬਘਰ,[3][4][5] ਫਿਲਮ[6] and television productions,[7] ਰੰਗਮੰਚ [8] and ਆਰਕੇਸਟਰਾ ,[9] concert tours,[10] zoos,[11] as well as ਗੀਤ ਸੰਗੀਤ -
