2001 ਦੇ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਯੂਥ ਰਿਸਕ ਬਿਹੇਵੀਅਰ ਸਰਵੇ ਵਿਚ, ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦੀ 10.2% ਅਤੇ ਲੜਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ 5.1% ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ "ਜਦੋਂ [ਉਹ] ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸੰਬੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਉਦੋਂ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸਨ।"^[4] 2010 ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਪਰੀਤ ਜੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ, 45% ਨੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਤਿਆਚਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ, 30% ਨੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਅੱਤਿਆਚਾਰ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ 20% ਨੇ ਆਪਸੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ।^[5] 2011 ਵਿੱਚ, ਇੱਕ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਡਿਪਾਰਟਮੈਂਟ ਆਫ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਐਂਡ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਆਫ ਸਪੇਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਇੱਕ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਵਿੱਚ 32 ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਖੇ 13,877 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਨਮੂਨੇ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ 2.4% ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ 1.8% ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।^[6]

ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਲਾਤਕਾਰ [ਸੋਧੋ]

ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਲਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਮ ਆਫਿਸ ਤੋਂ 2000 ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਆਰੰਭਿਕ ਲੇਖ ਵਿੱਚ, ਲਗਭਗ 20 ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ (5%) ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 16 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ 'ਚ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਲਾਤਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।^[7]

2011 ਵਿੱਚ, ਯੂ ਐਸ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਫਾਰ ਡਿਜ਼ੀਜ਼ ਕੰਟ੍ਰੋਲ ਐਂਡ ਪ੍ਰੀਵੈਂਸ਼ਨ (ਸੀਡੀਸੀ) ਨੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ "ਲਗਭਗ 20% ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ" ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦੇ-ਕਦੇ ਬਲਾਤਕਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਬਲਾਤਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਤਿਹਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ 18 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਲਾਤਕਾਰ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।^[8]^[9]

ਸੀ.ਡੀ.ਸੀ. ਦੁਆਰਾ 2013 ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ 28% ਪੀੜਤ ਵਿਪਰੀਤ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ 48% ਪੂਰੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ 11 ਅਤੇ 17 ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਬਲਾਤਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕੀਤਾ।^[10]
