ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 2005 ਵਿੱਚ, ਕੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਸਟ੍ਰਿਪ ਕਲੱਬ ਆਰਡੀਨੈਂਸ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਲਈ ਲਕਵੁੱਡ, ਵਾਸ਼ਿੰਗਟਨ, ਕੈਬਰੇਟ ਸਟਿੰਗ ਅਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਵਿਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਤਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਛੋਹਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਦਾ ਸੀ।[5] ਉਸਨੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪਟੀਸ਼ਨ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ 19 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਰਤ 'ਤੇ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।[6][7]
