ਰੀਟਾ ਫਿਲਸਕੀ (ਜਨਮ 1956) ਇੱਕ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਆਲੋਚਕ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਰਜੀਨੀਆ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਖੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਵਿਲੀਅਮ ਆਰ ਕੇਨਾਨ ਜੂਨੀਅਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਫ਼ੈਸਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਊ ਲਿਟਰੇਰੀ ਹਿਸਟਰੀ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸੰਪਾਦਕ ਹੈ।

ਸਿੱਖਿਆ

ਫਿਲਸਕੀ ਨੇ ਕੈਂਬਰਿਜ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਫਰੈਂਚ ਅਤੇ ਜਰਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਨਰਜ਼ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੀਐਚ.ਡੀ ਦੀ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਮੋਨਾਸ਼ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਜਰਮਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਤੋਂ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤੀ। 

ਕੈਰੀਅਰ

1994 ਵਿੱਚ, ਵਰਜੀਨੀਆ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਰਦੋਚ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਖੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਲਨਾਤਮਕ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਾਇਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵਰਜੀਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਖੇ ਤੁਲਨਾਤਮਕ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਲਈ 2004 ਤੱਕ 2008 ਤੱਕ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ।
