ਅਮੀਲੋਜੈਨੇਸਿਸ ਇੰਮਪਰਫ਼ੇਕਟਾ ਝਾਲ ਜਾਂ ਦੰਦ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਟ ਦੀ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਪਰਤ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਦੁਰਲੱਭ ਅਸਧਾਰਨ ਗਠਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।[1] ਝਾਲ ਜਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਖਣਿਜ ਦੀ ਬਣੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਗਠਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਯੰਤਰਣ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਪ੍ਰੋਟੀਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਝਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਪ੍ਰੋਟੀਨ- ਅਮੀਲੋਬਲਾਸਿਟਨ, ਇਨੇਮਲਿਨ ਟਫ਼ਟਲਿਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਮੀਲੋਜੈਨਿਨ ਦੀ ਨਿਕਾਰਾਪਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਮੀਲੋਜੈਨੇਸਿਸ ਇੰਮਪਰਫ਼ੇਕਟਾ ਦੇ ਪੀਡ਼ਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਪੀਲੇ, ਭੂਰੇ ਜਾਂ ਸਲੇਟੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ ਦੁੱਧ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਪੱਕੇ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੇਦ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਆਸਾਰ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਦੰਦ ਬਦਲਦੇ ਮੌਸਮ, ਤੇਜ਼ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ਨ, ਅਧਿਕਤਮ ਪਥਰੀ ਜਮਾਵ ਅਤੇ ਮਸੂੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਈਪਰਪਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਲਈ ਅਤਿਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।[2]

AMELX,[3] ENAM,[4] MMP20,[5] KLK-4,[6] FAM83H,[7] WDR72,[8] C4orf26,[9] SLC24A4[10] LAMB3[11] and ITGB6[12] ਜੀਨਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਪਰਿਵਰਤਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਨਮੂਨੇ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਚੀਜ਼ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਜੀਨ ਬਦਲਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ ਡਾ ਨਿਵਾਰਣ ਅਤੇ ਠੀਕ ਕੀਤੇ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਬਾਹਰਲੀ ਦਿੱਖ ਵੱਲ ਵੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇਣਾ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਝਾਲ ਦੇ ਖਰਾਬ ਹੋਣ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਡੈਂਟਾਇਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਦੰਦ ਪੀਲੇ ਦਿਸਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਮ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਤੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਟੋਪੀ ਚਢ਼ਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਦੰਦ ਦੇ ਹਲਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਕਢ ਕੇ ਨਕਲੀ ਦੰਦ ਵੀ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
