ਕਟਿਆਲ ਨੇ ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ- ਲਾਇਕ ਬਲੱਡ ਓਨ ਦ ਬਿਟਨ ਟੰਗ: ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪੋਇਮਜ਼, ਹਾਓ ਮੈਨੀ ਕੰਟਰੀਜ਼ ਡਜ਼ ਦ ਇੰਡਸ ਕਰਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਈਟ ਚਾਰਜ ਐਕਸਟਰਾ ਆਦਿ।[1][2][3][4][5][6] ਪਤਝੜ 2016 ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਹ ਆਇਓਵਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਲੇਖਣ ਫੈਲੋ ਸੀ।[7] 2018 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਨੇ ਰਵੀਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦੀ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ 'ਇਸ਼ਕ ਮੇਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੋਨਾ 'ਦਾ 'ਏ ਸਿਟੀ ਹੈਪਨਜ਼ ਇਨ ਲਵ' ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।[8] 2020 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਨੇ 'ਦ ਵਰਲਡ ਦੇਟ ਬਿਲੌਂਗਸ ਟੂ ਅਸ: ਐਨ ਐਂਥੋਲੋਜੀ ਆਫ ਕੁਈਰ ਪੋਇਟਰੀ ਫ੍ਰਾਮ ਸਾਊਥ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ' ਦਾ ਸਹਿ-ਸੰਪਾਦਨ ਕੀਤਾ।[9]
ਕਟਿਆਲ ਲਖਨਊ, ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਬੇਦਕਰ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਚ ਸਿਰਜਨਾਤਮਕ ਲੇਖਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।[10]
