ਗੀਤਾ ਜੋਹਰੀ
ਗੀਤਾ ਜੋਹਰੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾਮੁਕਤ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਦੀ ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ. ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਬਣਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਔਰਤ ਸੀ। ਜੌਹਰੀ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਖੀ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਸੇਵਾਮੁਕਤ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਉੱਚ ਦਰਜੇ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸੀ।[1][2] ਉਹ ਪੀਪੀ ਪਾਂਡੇ ਦੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ, 2017 ਵਿੱਚ ਡੀ.ਆਈ.ਜੀ. ਬਣੀ ਸੀ।[3]
ਜੋਹਰੀ ਸੋਹਰਾਬੂਦੀਨ ਸ਼ੇਖ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਅਸਲ ਜਾਂਚਕਰਤਾ ਸੀ।[4]
ਜੋਹਰੀ ਨੇ 1982 ਬੈਚ ਵਿਚ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।[5]
1992 ਵਿਚ ਉਸਨੇ ਅਪਰਾਧੀ ਅਬਦੁੱਲ ਲਤੀਫ ਦੇ ਦਰੀਆਪੁਰ ਲੁਕਣ 'ਤੇ ਛਾਪਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ।[6] ਲਤੀਫ਼ ਬਚ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ, ਪਰ ਜੋਹਰੀ ਨੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਗੰਨਮੈਨ ਸ਼ਰੀਫ ਖਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ।
1998 ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਉਸਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਖੁੰਜ ਜਾਣਾ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ।[7][8][9]
ਉਹ 2002 ਦੇ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਦੰਗਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚਕਰਤਾ ਸੀ।[10]
