[ਸੋਧ] Getting the Punjabi Wikipedia Rolling
After much delay, I've managed to get administrator privileges. I've also started cleaning up the main page by copying sections of the English Wikipedia and slowly translating it. I will hopefully be able to get the Punjabi interface up and running shortly - a bug report has been filed.
Please contribute and if you wish to co-ordinate efforts to get this Wikipedia off the ground, place a message here!

इस संदर्भमे मेरेपास पर्याप्त पुस्तक स्वरूप संसाधन उपलब्ध है.

The Punjabi should be in Shahmukhi Script as majority of the Punjabi speaking community (being Pakistani) uses this script to write Punjabi. This major portion of the Punjabi people are not being able to read the Punjabi Wikipedia just because of the script. Hi,
I see that you have automatic typing solution for Gurmukhi here. Some other Wikipedias in Indian languages use the new Narayam extension. It does more or less the same thing, but in a more uniform and modern way and it supports more languages. It should be very easy to set it up here. Does the editor community of the Punjabi Wikipedia agree to install it here?

Hello,
At http://www.translatewiki.net we have implemented three input methods for Punjabi - InScript, Phonetic and Transliteration.
I am especially curious about the Transliteration method. Can anyone please test it? It is similar to the way you type here now, but it's supposed to be more complete. Use M for bindi, NN for tippi and z for addak.
Can i please ask you to go to http://www.translatewiki.net , create an account, set your language to Punjabi (pa) and test the keyboards?
