ਸਾਕਸ਼ੀ ( ਅਨੁ. The Witness )[2] ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਤੇਲਗੂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਅਖਬਾਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਜਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਆਂਧਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਲੰਗਾਨਾ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ 23 ਮਾਰਚ 2008 ਨੂੰ ਵਾਈਐਸ ਜਗਨ ਮੋਹਨ ਰੈੱਡੀ ਦੀ ਮਲਕੀਅਤ ਵਾਲੀ ਜਗਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਨ ਲਿਮਟਿਡ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਲਾਂਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। [3][4][5]

ਸਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਜਗਨ ਮੋਹਨ ਰੈੱਡੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਪਾਰਟੀ — ਵਾਈਐਸਆਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਵਾਈਸੀਪੀ) ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਆਊਟਲੈਟ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰੈਡੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਈਸੀਪੀ ਦੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੱਖਪਾਤੀ ਕਵਰੇਜ ਲਈ ਇਸਦੀ ਅਕਸਰ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।[10]

ਸਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਵਾਈਐਸ ਜਗਨ ਮੋਹਨ ਰੈੱਡੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਆਂਧਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਤਤਕਾਲੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਾਈਐਸ ਰਾਜਸ਼ੇਖਰ ਰੈਡੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਨ।[16] ਜਗਨ ਮੋਹਨ ਰੈੱਡੀ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਦਾਇਰ ਸੀਬੀਆਈ ਦੀ ਚਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਟ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਸਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਅਖਬਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਟੀਵੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਚਿਤ ਸੌਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।[17] [18] [19] [20]
