ਕਾਤਿਆ ਇਡਾ ਕੋਏਲਹੋ (ਅੰਗ੍ਰੇਜ਼ੀ: Katya Ida Coelho; ਜਨਮ 13 ਅਗਸਤ 1999)[1] ਗੋਆ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਵਿੰਡਸਰਫਰ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਰ ਅਤੇ ਚਿੱਤਰਕਾਰ ਵੀ ਹੈ। ਕੋਏਲਹੋ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਇਕਲੌਤੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ iQFoiler ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੁਲਾਈ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੱਟਾਯਾ, ਥਾਈਲੈਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਵਿੰਡਸਰਫਿੰਗ ਕੱਪ ਵਿੱਚ IQFoil ਮੈਡਲ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹੈ।[2][3]
ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜੀਵਨ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਕਾਤਿਆ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 13 ਅਗਸਤ, 1999 ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਵਿੰਡਸਰਫਿੰਗ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨ ਡੋਨਾਲਡ ਕੋਹਲੋ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, [4] ਜਿਸਨੇ ਵਾਟਰ ਐਂਡ ਬੀਚ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਪ੍ਰਮੋਸ਼ਨ ਫੋਰਮ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਗੋਆ ਬੀਚ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ (GBSA) ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿੰਡਸਰਫਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਡੇਨੇ ਐਡਗਰ ਐਗਨੇਲੋ ਕੋਲਹੋ [5] ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਵਿੰਡਸਰਫਿੰਗ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨ ਹੈ। ਇਕੱਠੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਏਲਹੋ ਭੈਣ-ਭਰਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। [6] [7] [8]
ਵਿੰਡਸਰਫਿੰਗ ਕਰੀਅਰ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਕੋਏਲਹੋ ਨੇ 11 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿੰਡਸਰਫਿੰਗ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
14 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ 2014 ਦੇ ਸਮਰ ਯੂਥ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਗਈ ਸੀ।[9][10][11][12][13][14]
ਉਸਦੇ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੈਕਨੋ 2015 ਵਿੱਚ ਏਸ਼ੀਅਨ ਓਪਨ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਵਿੱਚ 10 ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸੋਨ ਤਗਮੇ, ਅਤੇ 2 ਕਾਂਸੀ ਦੇ ਤਗਮੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਉਸਨੇ 2018 ਏਸ਼ੀਅਨ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਮਿਕਸਡ RS: One ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਡੇਨੇ ਐਡਗਰ ਐਗਨੇਲੋ ਕੋਲਹੋ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ।[15][16]
ਜੁਲਾਈ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਏਲਹੋ ਨੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਵਿੰਡਸਰਫਿੰਗ ਕੱਪ - ਪੱਟਾਯਾ, ਥਾਈਲੈਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ IQFoil ਮੈਡਲ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਬਣੀ।
