ਭਾਰਤ ਇੱਕ ਦੱਖਣ ਏਸ਼ੀਆਈ ਦੇਸ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਹੈ। ੧,੦੦੦ ਕਰੌੜ ਦੀ ਅਬਾਦੀ ਨਾਲ, ਭਾਰਤ ਦੁਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਜਨ-ਸੰਖਿਆ ਵਾਲਾ ਦੇਸ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਜੁਗਰਾਫੀਆ ਦੇ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਦੁਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੱਤਵਾਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਪਾਸੇ ਸਾਗਰ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ। ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ, ਚੀਨ, ਨੇਪਾਲ, ਭੂਟਾਣ, ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼, ਬਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਲੰਕਾ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ।
