ਉੱਤਰ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਪਰਬਤੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ (ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਉਪਨਾਮ:NEHU) ਇੱਕ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ 19 ਜੁਲਾ 1973 ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸੰਸਦ ਦੇ ਐਕਟ ਅਧੀਨ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰਾਜ ਮੇਘਾਲਿਆ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਸ਼ਿਲਾਂਗ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਹਾਡ਼ੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ।[1][2][3] ਇਹ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪੱਖੋਂ ਕਾਫੀ ਉੱਚ-ਪੱਧਰੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਹੈ।[4][5]
