English: Hamburg, Germany: This panorama shows the Binnenalster (inner Alster) from Lombards Bridge (Lombardsbrücke) looking south. Prominent buildings from left (South-East shore): the Hapag-Lloyd AG headquarters, Tower of St. Petri, Tower of St. Katharinen, Tower and north-west side of the Hamburg City Hall (Hamburger Rathauses). In the centre of the image is the Alster Fountain, slightly to the right of it are the bright first floor windows of the Alsterhaus department store. The reddish building is the Hotel Hamburger Hof. To the right — the western side of the inner Alster — is the Four Seasons Hotel. The Kleine Alster (Small Alster) goes in front of the City Hall and joins the River Elbe to the south. From there to the Four Seasons Hotel is the Jungfernsieg (a road), and the hotel itself is on the Neuen (New) Jungfernstieg, where it meets the Jungfernstieg.
Deutsch: Hamburg, Deutschland: Das Panoramabild zeigt die Binnenalster von der Lombardsbrücke in Hauptrichtung Süden aufgenommen. Markante Gebäude sind von links (Südostufer): Hauptsitz der Hapag-Lloyd AG, Tum von St. Petri, Turm von St. Katharinen, Turm und nordwestliche Ecke des Hamburger Rathauses. In der Bildmitte die Alsterfontäne sowie etwas rechts mit hell erleuchteten Fenstern im Erdgeschoss das Kaufhaus Alsterhaus. Das markante rote Gebäude ist das ehemalige Hotel Hamburger Hof. Rechts in der westlichen Ecke der Binnenalster das Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten. Den Durchblick zum weiter hinten stehenden Rathaus ermöglicht die Kleine Alster, die in der südlichen Ecke den Abfluss zur Elbe ermöglicht. Von dort bis zum Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten verläuft im Bild der Jungfernstieg, das Hotel selbst befindet sich im Neuen Jungfernstieg, der im rechten Winkel zum Jungfernstieg verläuft.
