English: It is one of the popular ponds of the Eastern Nepal. Guphapokhari is located in Sankhuwsabha and is away from the crowd. It is a trekking spot from Basantapur but you can find buses too that will take you there.The place is famous for 26 different types of Rhododendron that bloom together at the end of Chaitra. You can find little lodges to live in. They sell the pure Ghee prepared from Yak's milk, and a delicious milk product call Chhurpi, which people take to their homes as souvenir.
