ਰਤਨ ਤਲਾਓ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੈਡੀ ਸਟ੍ਰੀਟ, ਕਰਾਚੀ, ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਹੈ। [1] [2] [3]
ਇਤਿਹਾਸ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਇਸ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਿਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। [4] ਇਹ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੇ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਦਾ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ 1947 ਵਿਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਸਮੇਂ ਇਸ ਥਾਂ 'ਤੇ 250 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਤਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। [5]
1958 ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਥੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਉਦੀਨ ਮੈਮੋਰੀਅਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਨਬੀ ਬਾਗ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਦੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। [6] [7] [5] ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ, 1972 ਵਿੱਚ, ਇਸਦਾ ਕੌਮੀਕਰਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। [5]
