ਅਸਮਾ ਮਮਦੋਟ
ਅਸਮਾ ਮਮਦੋਟ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਸਿਆਸਤਦਾਨ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਜੂਨ 2013 ਤੋਂ ਮਈ 2018 ਤੱਕ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਅਸੈਂਬਲੀ ਦੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।

ਉਸਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਲਾਹੌਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਮਦੋਟਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਨਸਲੀ ਖੇਸ਼ਗੀ ਅਫਗਾਨ ਸਨ।[1][2][3][4] ਉਹ ਪੇਸ਼ੇ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੇ ਕਿੰਗ ਐਡਵਰਡ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਐਮਬੀਬੀਐਸ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।[4]

ਉਹ 2008 ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਆਮ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਰਾਖਵੀਂ ਸੀਟ 'ਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਲੀਗ (F) (PML-F) ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸੂਬਾਈ ਅਸੈਂਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਚੁਣੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।[5]
ਫਰਵਰੀ 2013 ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਹ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਪੀਪਲਜ਼ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਪੀਪੀਪੀ) ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਗਈ।[6] ਮਾਰਚ 2013 ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਹ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਲੀਗ (ਐਨ) (ਪੀਐਮਐਲ-ਐਨ) ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਗਈ।[7]
ਉਹ 2013 ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਆਮ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਰਾਖਵੀਂ ਸੀਟ 'ਤੇ ਪੀਐਮਐਲ-ਐਨ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਅਸੈਂਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਚੁਣੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।[8][9][10][11]

ਉਹ ਮਮਦੋਟਸ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਘਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ।[4] ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਹਨਵਾਜ਼ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਮਮਦੋਟ ਦੀ ਪੋਤੀ ਹੈ।[11]
