ਲੈਪਰਡ 2.15 ਮੀਟਰ ਲੰਮਾ ਚਿੱਤਰ-ਮਿਤਰਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ, ਏਸ਼ੀਆ, ਅਤੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਤੇ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਚੜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦਾ ਮਨ ਪਸੰਦ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹਿਰਨ ਹੈ । ਇਸਨੂੰ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਂਦੂਆ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ । ਇਹ ਅਕਸਰ ਹੀ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ।
