Usage

To add an article to the list, simply add the template to the talk page of the article with the following parameters:

{{WikiProject Physics|class=|importance=}}

• class: Options are FA, FL, A, GA, B, C, Start, Stub, List, Template, Category, Disambig, Portal, Project, Redirect, Image and NA. If blank, this will default to Unassessed.

Descriptions of the options can be found at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment. NA represents "not applicable".

• importance: Options are Top, High, Mid, Low, and NA. If blank, this will default as Unrated priority. NA represents "not applicable".

This is the importance within physics according to this scale. WikiProject Physics participants have elaborated guidelines to help gauge the importance of an article within physics.

Additional options are available if you have a need for them. Here are the full options:

Options which are left blank will not be displayed or categorized.

• needs-infobox: Answer yes if the article needs an infobox, otherwise remove this line.
• needs-image: Answer yes if the article needs a picture, graphic, or illustration, otherwise remove this line.
• attention: Answer yes if the page needs immediate attention, otherwise remove this line.
• listas: Enter the desired sorting for personal names, e.g. Smith, John
• Task Forces: Append yes if the article is related to a taskforce's scope, otherwise remove the line.

Tag an article

Just add {{WikiProject Physics|class=|importance=}} to the article's talk page. Please take the time to choose a class and an importance rating.

Rate an article with a class

Edit the talk page, change the |class= parameter to the appropriate rating, or add |class= if not already present, and save the page.
