ਬਾਲਨ ਨਾਂਬਿਆਰ (Malayalam: ബാലൻ നമ്പ്യാര് ; 12 ਨਵੰਬਰ, 1937 ਨੂੰ ਕੰਨਪੁਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਨਮਿਆ) ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਚਿੱਤਰਕਾਰ, ਮੂਰਤੀਕਾਰ, ਐਨਾਮੇਲਿਸਟ, ਫੋਟੋਗ੍ਰਾਫਰ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਖੋਜਕਾਰ ਹੈ।

ਇੱਕ ਮੂਰਤੀਕਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਉਸਨੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ, ਫਾਈਬਰਗਲਾਸ ਰੀਇਨਫੋਰਸਡ ਕੰਕਰੀਟ, ਲੱਕੜ, ਕਾਂਸੀ, ਹਲਕੇ ਸਟੀਲ ਅਤੇ, 2000 ਤੋਂ, ਸਟੇਨਲੈਸ ਸਟੀਲ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ।[1][2][3][4][5] ਉਸਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ; ਕੁਝ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਹਨ।[6] ਉਸਨੇ ਈਨਾਮਲ ਪੇਂਟਿੰਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕੀਤਾ,[7][8] ਇਹ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਪਡੁਆ, ਇਟਲੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਓਲੋ ਡੀ ਪੋਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖੀ। ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਰਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ 1982 ਵਿੱਚ ਵੇਨਿਸ ਬਿਏਨਲੇ, [9][10] 1978 ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈਨੋਵਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਸਟਰਕਟਾ-78, 1975 ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਟ੍ਰਾਈਨੇਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ[11] ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਜਾਇਬ ਘਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਈ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ।
ਬਾਲਨ ਨਾਂਬਿਆਰ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਤੱਟ ਦੇ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਰਸਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਟੇਯਮ ਅਤੇ ਭੂਟਾ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਲਾ ਦੇ ਰੂਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਅਧਿਐਨ, ਫੋਟੋਗ੍ਰਾਫੀ ਅਤੇ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ੀਕਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।[12] ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੇਖ ਅਤੇ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਹਨ। ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਲਗਭਗ 1800 ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਇੰਦਰਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਫਾਰ ਆਰਟਸ,[13] ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।[14]
