ਵੂਮੈਨਜ਼ ਔਕਜ਼ੀਲਰੀ ਕੋਰ (ਇੰਡੀਆ) (ਡਬਲਯੂਏਸੀ(ਆਈ)), ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਮਾਰਚ 1942, ਵਿੱਚ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸੇਵਾ (ਬਰਮਾ) ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਦੂਜੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਤੱਕ, ਇਸ ਨੇ 11,500 ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ^[1] ^[2] ^[3] ^[4] ^[5] ^[6]
