ਰਿਚਰਡ ਰਸਲ ਵਾਲਡਰੋਨ ਛੋਟੇ ਭਰਾ[1] ਥਾਮਸ ਵੈਸਟਬਰੂਕ ਵਾਲਡਰੋਨ (ਕੌਂਸਲ) ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਲਕਸ ਐਕਸਪੀਡੀਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਸਰ[2] "ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਏਜੰਟ"[3][4] ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਕਈ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਰੱਖੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਾਲਡਰੋਨ ਨੇ ਵਾਸ਼ਿੰਗਟਨ, ਡੀ.ਸੀ. ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਿਆ।
