How you can update mail settings in AOL?

With a huge range of exceptional features, AOL offers free web-based services for email such as protection from spam, up to 25 MB attachment limit in email and unlimited storage.  AOL allows you to send emails, text messages, do AOL Instant Messenger and much more. With AOL, you can add up to five accounts and you can manage all those accounts from one place.

You can access your AOL account by visiting mail.aol.com/login. If you are an existing user do AOL Mail login, else click “Create Account” if you are a new user. Your AOL email account will get deactivated automatically if the AOL account remains inactive for 90 days.

AOL not only provides a variety of features but also allows you to customize your email, just the way you like. When you access your AOL mail via mail.aol.com/login you will get a personalized mail experience. You can update your settings for your AOL Mail according to you, by following the steps mentioned below:-

1. Access your AOL mail via AOL login.
2. Click on “Options”> “Mail Settings”, visible under your username.
3. Click the tab for which you want to change the settings.

You can update your spam setting with AOL. Following are the steps to update spam settings:-

1. Click the Spam Settings.
2. Enter the email address you want to block, visible under the box under "Block mail from addresses I specify"
3. Click the “+ icon”
4. Alternatively, click the “X icon” next to the address you want to remove.

You can update your General settings with AOL. You can customize any of the following settings, and then click “Save” to finalize your selection:-

• “Today on AOL” option– Click the box to access the latest news, unread messages and tips for mail.
• “Sender Name Display” option – Click on the box and choose to display either the sender’s email or his/her name.
• “Reading” option– You can select the display for your emails in your inbox.
• “New Mail” option– You can select the sound for the notification for every new mail, which arrives.
• “Mail Away Message” option you can create, enable or remove away messages in AOL.
• “Auto Sign Off” option– Before AOL automatically signs you off, you can choose how long you want to be with AOL.
• “Contacts” option– You can choose the display of your contacts so, that it looks nice and sorted.
