ਵਰੀਜਾ ਬਜਾਜ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਰਕਵੇਅਰ ਲਈ ਜਾਣੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।[1][2][3][4][5] 2016 ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਰਨਵੇਅ ਵੀਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੇ "ਪਗੜੀ" ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿੱਚ, ਮਾਡਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਹੈੱਡਗੇਅਰ 'ਪਗੜੀ' ਪਹਿਨੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੇਖਿਆ।[6] ਉਸਦਾ "ਵ੍ਰਿੰਦਾਵਨ" ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ 2017 ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਰਨਵੇ ਵੀਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੀਮੀਅਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਕਲੰਕ ਦਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[7]

2000 ਦੀਆਂ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਬਜਾਜ ਨੇ ਮਿਰਾਂਡਾ ਹਾਊਸ, ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਫਿਲਾਸਫੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਚਲਰ ਆਫ਼ ਆਰਟਸ ਆਨਰਜ਼ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸਨੇ ਜ਼ੇਵੀਅਰਜ਼ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਆਫ਼ ਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ, ਸੇਂਟ ਜ਼ੇਵੀਅਰਜ਼ ਕਾਲਜ, ਮੁੰਬਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਗਿਆਪਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਰਕੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿਪਲੋਮਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਬਿਜ਼ਨਸ ਐਡਮਿਨਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੈਫੀਲਡ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ,[8][9] ਯੂ.ਕੇ. ਚਲੀ ਗਈ।
ਅਵਾਰਡ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਵਰੀਜਾ ਬਜਾਜ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਗੌਰਵ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਂਡ ਆਫਿਸ ਐਂਡ ਯੂ ਲਈ ਇਕਨਾਮਿਕ ਟਾਈਮਜ਼ ਲੇਬਲ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਕਰਤਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ।[10] ਇੱਕ ਅਸੰਗਠਿਤ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਫਲ ਉਦਯੋਗਪਤੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਤੇ, ਉਹ ਹੁਣ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਬਿਜ਼ਨਸ -ਹੈਦਰਾਬਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਕੇਸ ਸਟੱਡੀ ਹੈ।

ਵਰੀਜਾ ਬਜਾਜ ਗੈਰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਵਰੀਜਾ ਲਾਈਫ ਦੀ ਚੇਅਰਪਰਸਨ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਅਪਾਹਜ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਵਰੀਜਾ ਲਾਈਫ ਨੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪੰਗਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਸੰਮੇਲਨ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ।[11][12] ਵਰੀਜਾ ਲਾਈਫ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਖੋਜ ਲਈ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਣੀਆਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਭਾਰਤ ਭਰ ਦੇ 27 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਲਜ ਖੋਜ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹਨ।[13][14] ਉਹ ਅਪੰਗਤਾ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਲਈ ਵਰਲਡ ਸੀਐਸਆਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੇ 100 ਖੋਜਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ।
ਵਰੀਜਾ ਲਾਈਫ ਨੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਸੰਮੇਲਨ-2021 ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਸੰਸਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਮਲਿਤ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸਮਾਜ ਲਈ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਪੰਗਤਾ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵਰਚੁਅਲ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਹੈ।[15][16][17] ਇਹ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਪੰਗਤਾ ਲਈ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਦਿਵਸ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ 20 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਮਾਹਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਪੰਗਤਾ ਦੀ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਇੰਨੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਦੂਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
