[1][2][3][4][5][6]ਸੋਨਮ ਵਾਂਗਚੁਕ (ਜਨਮ 1 ਸਤੰਬਰ 1966) ਭਾਰਤੀ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ, ਨਵੀਨਤਾਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸੁਧਾਰਵਾਦੀ ਹੈ। [7][8] ਇਹ ਸਟੂਡੈਂਟਸ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨਲ ਐਂਡ ਕਲਚਰਲ ਮੂਵਮੈਂਟ ਆਫ਼ ਲੱਦਾਖ (ਐਸਈਸੀਐਮਓਐਲ) ਦਾ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ 1988 ਵਿਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਮੂਹ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕਹੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਲੱਦਾਖ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਦੇ 'ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ' ਸਨ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਥੋਪੀ ਗਈ। [9][10][11] ਵਾਂਗਚੁਕ ਨੂੰ SECMOL ਕੈਂਪਸ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸੂਰਜੀ ਊਰਜਾ 'ਤੇ ਚਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਖਾਣਾ ਪਕਾਉਣ, ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਜਾਂ ਹੀਟਿੰਗ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਜੈਵਿਕ ਬਾਲਣ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ।
