ਅਨੰਨਿਆ ਵਾਜਪੇਈ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਖਕ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਵਿਕਾਸਸ਼ੀਲ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲੋ ਹੈ।[1] ਉਹ ਹਾਰਵਰਡ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਜੇਤੂ ਕਿਤਾਬ " ਰਾਈਟੀਅਸ ਰਿਪਬਲਿਕ: ਦ ਪੋਲੀਟਿਕਲ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਆਫ ਮਾਡਰਨ ਇੰਡੀਆ " ਦੀ ਲੇਖਕ ਹੈ। 1972 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ।

ਵਾਜਪਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਅਕਾਦਮੀ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਜੇਤੂ ਕਵੀ ਕੈਲਾਸ਼ ਵਾਜਪਾਈ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਹੈ।[2]

ਵਾਜਪਾਈ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਐਮ.ਏ.,[3] ਐਮ.ਫਿਲ. ਆਕਸਫੋਰਡ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਡਸ ਸਕਾਲਰ,[4] ਅਤੇ ਪੀਐਚ.ਡੀ. ਸ਼ਿਕਾਗੋ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਉਸਨੇ ਮੈਸੇਚਿਉਸੇਟਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ[5] ਅਤੇ ਕੋਲੰਬੀਆ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ[6] ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ ਹੈ।

ਕੰਮ[ਸੋਧੋ]

ਉਸਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ " ਰਾਈਟਿਅਸ ਰਿਪਬਲਿਕ" ਨੇ ਪੰਕਜ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ " ਫਰੌਮ ਦ ਰੂਇਨਜ਼ ਆਫ ਐਂਪਾਇਰ " ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਗਲਪ (2013) ਲਈ ਕ੍ਰਾਸਵਰਡ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ।[7] ਇਸਨੇ ਹਾਰਵਰਡ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ[8] ਤੋਂ ਥਾਮਸ ਜੇ ਵਿਲਸਨ ਮੈਮੋਰੀਅਲ ਇਨਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਗਲਪ (2013) ਲਈ ਟਾਟਾ ਫਸਟ ਬੁੱਕ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਵੀ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ।[9] ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਿ ਗਾਰਡੀਅਨ ਅਤੇ ਦਿ ਨਿਊ ਰਿਪਬਲਿਕ ' ਤੇ ਸਾਲ 2012 ਦੀਆਂ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[10][11]

ਉਹ ਆਸ਼ੀਸ ਨੰਦੀ : ਏ ਲਾਈਫ ਇਨ ਡਿਸਸੈਂਟ (ਓਯੂਪੀ, 2018)[12] ਦੇ ਰਮਿਨ ਜਹਾਨਬੇਗਲੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਵੋਲਕਰ ਕੌਲ ਨਾਲ: ਦੱਖਣੀ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਰਪ (ਸਪਰਿੰਗਰ, 2020) ਤੋਂ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀਕੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਿ-ਸੰਪਾਦਕ ਹੈ।[13]

ਉਹ ਦ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਅਖਬਾਰ[14] ਲਈ ਨਿਯਮਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਲਿਖਦੀ ਹੈ।[15] ਉਸਨੇ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਅੰਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਾਰਨਾ, ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਸੰਪਾਦਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।[16]
