ਕਲਿਓਫ਼ਿਸ (Sanskrit: ਕ੍ਰੀਪਾ)[1] ਅਸਾਕਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਲੈਗਜੈਂਡਰ ਮਹਾਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਲਿਓਫ਼ਿਸ ਇੱਕ ਮੁੱਖ ਹਸਤੀ ਸੀ। ਕਲਿਓਫ਼ਿਸ ਅਸਾਕਾਨਸ, 326 ਬੀਸੀਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਲੈਗਜ਼ੈਂਡਰ ਦੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਯੁੱਧ-ਆਗੂ ਸੀ, ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਸੀ। ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੇਟੇ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਕਲਿਓਫ਼ਿਸ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਰੁਤਬਾ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ, ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਕਲਿਓਫ਼ਿਸ ਦਾ ਅਲੈਗਜੈਂਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਵੀ ਸੀ।[2]

ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਟਿਅਸ ਅਤੇ ਜਸਟਿਨ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਲਾਸੀਕਲ ਲੇਖਕ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਕਲਿਓਫ਼ਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਲਦੀ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਮਾਂਸ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕਾਢ ਕੱਢੀ.[3]
