ਕਾਮੀ ਰੀਤਾ (ਜਨਮ 17 ਜਨਵਰੀ 1970) ਥਾਮੇ, ਸੋਲੁਕੁੰਬੂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ, ਨੇਪਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਨੇਪਾਲੀ ਸ਼ੇਰਪਾ ਗਾਈਡ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮਈ 2018 ਤੋਂ, ਮਾਊਂਟ ਐਵਰੈਸਟ ਦੇ ਸਿਖਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ 30 ਵਾਰ ਚਡ਼੍ਹਾਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।[1] ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸਨੇ 22 ਮਈ 2024 ਨੂੰ 30ਵੀਂ ਵਾਰ ਪਹਾਡ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤੇ 12 ਮਈ 2024 ਨੂੱ 29 ਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੀ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਤੋਡ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ।[2] [3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12] 1950 ਵਿੱਚ ਐਵਰੈਸਟ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਪਰਬਤਾਰੋਹੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਸ਼ੇਰਪਾ ਗਾਈਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਨ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਬਤਾਰੋਹੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਲਕਪਾ ਰੀਤਾ, ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਗਾਈਡ ਵੀ ਸਨ, ਨੇ 17 ਵਾਰ ਐਵਰੈਸਟ ਨੂੰ ਸਰ ਕੀਤਾ।[13][14]

16 ਮਈ 2018 ਨੂੰ, 48 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਾਮੀ ਰੀਤਾ 22 ਵਾਰ ਮਾਊਂਟ ਐਵਰੈਸਟ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਡ਼੍ਹਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ, 8,850 ਮੀਟਰ (29,035 ਫੁੱਟ) ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਿਖਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ।[13][18][19] ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸਨੇ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਊਜ਼ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੇ ਰਿਟਾਇਰਮੈਂਟ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 25 ਵਾਰ ਐਵਰੈਸਟ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੇਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਸੀ, "ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਬਲਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਸ਼ੇਰਪਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼, ਨੇਪਾਲ ਲਈ" ਉਸਨੇ 12 ਮਈ 2024 ਨੂੰ ਐਵਰੈਸਟ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ 29 ਵਾਂ ਸਿਖਰ ਅਤੇ 22 ਮਈ 2024 ਨੂੰ 30 ਵਾਂ ਸਿਖਰ ਸੰਮੇਲਨ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ।[20][13][4][5][2][3]

ਕਾਮੀ ਰੀਤਾ ਨੇ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁੱਲ 40 ਸਿਖਰ ਸੰਮੇਲਨ ਦਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਬਣਾਇਆ, ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ 8,000 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੇ ਸਿਖਰ ਸੰਮੇਲਨ ਦਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਐਵਰੈਸਟ ਦੀ ਸੰਪੂਰਨਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲ ਅੱਠ ਵਾਰ ਚੋ-ਓਯੂ (2001,2004,2006,2009,2011,2013,2014 ਅਤੇ 2016) ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਕੇਲ ਕੀਤਾ। [21][6][4][5][2][3]
