ਗ੍ਰੇਟਾ ਗਾਰਡ

ਗ੍ਰੇਟਾ ਜੋਅ ਗਾਰਡ (ਜਨਮ 1960, ਹਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ, ਕੈਲੀਫੋਰਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ) ਇੱਕ ਈਕੋਫੈਮੀਨਿਸਟ ਲੇਖਕ, ਵਿਦਵਾਨ, ਕਾਰਕੁਨ ਅਤੇ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਹੈ।ਗਾਰਡ ਦਾ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਕੰਮ ਈਕੋਕ੍ਰਿਟੀਸਿਜ਼ਮ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਈਕੋਕੰਪੋਜਿਸ਼ਨ 'ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਚਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹਿਤਕ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ 'ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਕ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਈਰ ਥਿਉਰੀ, ਸ਼ਾਕਾਹਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਈਕੋਫੈਮੀਨਿਸਟ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਮਿਨੀਸੋਟਾ ਗ੍ਰੀਨ ਪਾਰਟੀ  ਦੀ ਸਹਿ-ਸੰਪਾਦਕ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿਸਕੰਸਿਨ-ਰੀਵਰ ਫਾਲਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਖੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਫ਼ੈਸਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਟਰੋਪੋਲੀਟਨ ਸਟੇਟ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਮਉਨਿਟੀ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹੈ।
