ਡਾ. ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ (ਜਨਮ 1935) ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਹਨ।[1]

ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਿੱਲ 1968-1984 ਤਕ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਟਿਆਲ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਫ਼ੈਸਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸਨੇ ਜਵਾਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ।
