ਦੇਸ਼ਦੂਤ (ਮਰਾਠੀ देशदूत - ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ) ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਰਾਠੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਨਾਸਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।[1][2]
ਦੇਸ਼ਦੂਤ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਧਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਰਾਠੀ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਹੈ।[3]
ਇਤਿਹਾਸ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ 1966 ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਦੇਵਕੀਸਨ ਸਾਰਦਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਵਕੀਸਨ ਸਾਰਦਾ, ਰਾਮੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਸਾਰਦਾ, ਵਿਕਰਮ ਸਾਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਕ ਸਾਰਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।[4]
ਦੇਸ਼ਦੂਤ ਸਤੰਬਰ 1970 ਤੱਕ ਇੱਕ ਹਫ਼ਤਾਵਾਰੀ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਸੀ। ਅੱਜ ਇਹ ਮਰਾਠੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਲੈਕਸਾ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੇ 15 ਰੈਂਕ ਵਾਲੀ ਵੈੱਬ-ਸਾਈਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।[5]
ਇਹ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਨਾਸਿਕ, ਜਲਗਾਓਂ, ਧੂਲੇ, ਨੰਦੂਰਬਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਹਿਮਦਨਗਰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ 1966 ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਸਿਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਦੇ ਫਲੈਗਸ਼ਿਪ ਐਡੀਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਉਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ, 1991 ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਦੇਸ਼ਦੂਤ (ਜਿਸਨੂੰ 1998 ਤੋਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਦੂਤ ਟਾਈਮਜ਼ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਛਪ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ; 1996 ਵਿੱਚ ਧੂਲੇ ਐਡੀਸ਼ਨ; 1997 ਵਿੱਚ ਜਲਗਾਓਂ ਐਡੀਸ਼ਨ; 1998 ਵਿੱਚ ਨੰਦੂਰਬਾਰ [6] ਅਤੇ 1999 ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮਦਨਗਰ ਆਦਿ।[7]
ਸਮੂਹ ਨੇ 1976 ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮਦਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਵਮਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ।[8] ਇਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕੁਝ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੀ ਮਾਰਕੀਟ ਲਈ ਇੱਕੋ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਹਨ।[9]
