ਧਨੁ ਜਾਤਰਾ ਜਾਂ ਧਨੁ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਨਾਟਕ-ਅਧਾਰਤ ਓਪਨ ਏਅਰ ਥੀਏਟਰਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਬਰਗੜ੍ਹ, ਓਡੀਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ 8 ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲਿਆ ਬਾਰਗੜ੍ਹ ਨਗਰਪਾਲਿਕਾ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੇ ਘੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਇਹ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਓਪਨ ਏਅਰ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਗਿਨੀਜ਼ ਬੁੱਕ ਆਫ ਵਰਲਡ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਹੈ।[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] ਇਹ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ (ਸਥਾਨਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ), ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਭੂਤ ਦੇ ਚਾਚਾ ਕੰਸ ਦੀ ਮਿਥਿਹਾਸਕ ਕਹਾਣੀ 'ਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਤ ਹੈ। ਬਰਗੜ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਅਜੋਕੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਟਕ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪੱਛਮੀ ਉੜੀਸਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਹੋਰ ਥਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਨਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਨਾਟਕ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਬਰਗੜ੍ਹ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਹੈ।[8] ਇਹ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਫੇਰੀ ਦੇ ਕਿੱਸੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ (ਮਾਮਾ) ਕੰਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਧਨੁ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੇ ਗਵਾਹ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਨਾਟਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਭੈਣ ਦੇਬਕੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਸੁਦੇਬਾ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰ ਕੰਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਮਰਾਟ ਉਗਰਸੇਨ ਦੇ ਗੱਦੀਨਸ਼ੀਨ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਕੰਸ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਨਾਲ ਖਤਮ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਗਰਸੇਨ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕਾਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਲਿਪੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਰਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੰਸ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲਤੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਓਡੀਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬੀਜੂ ਪਟਨਾਇਕ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਜੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[7] ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਨਵੰਬਰ 2014 ਨੂੰ ਧਨੁ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਦਰਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ[9]
ਇਤਿਹਾਸ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਕੁਝ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਸ਼ਾਸਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਨਵੇਂ ਬਣੇ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਾ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਢੰਗ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਜਮਾਤ ਦੇ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਕੰਸ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਬਸਤੀਵਾਦੀ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਸੀ।[10]

ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਓਪਨ-ਏਅਰ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, [11][12] ਇਹ 1947 ਤੋਂ ਬਰਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ[13]
