ਨਾਓਮੀ ਸ਼ੌਰ (10 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ, 1943 ਨਿਊਯਾਰਕ ਸਿਟੀ – 2 ਦਸੰਬਰ, 2001 ਨੂੰ ਨਿਊ ਹਾਵੇਨ, ), ਇੱਕ ਸਾਹਿਤਕ ਆਲੋਚਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਕਾਰ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੀ ਨਾਰੀਵਾਦੀ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੀ।ਉਹ ਫ਼ਰਾਂਸੀਸੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੋਚਤਨਾਤਮਿਕ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰ ਸੀ। ਨਾਓਮੀ ਦੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਭੈਣ ਮੀਰਾ ਸ਼ੌਰ ਇੱਕ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਖਕ ਹੈ।

ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ

ਆਪਣੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਆਰ. ਹੋਵਾਰਡ ਬਲੋਚ, ਯੇਲ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਖੇ ਫਰਾਂਸੀਸੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਚੇਅਰਪਰਸਨ ਸੀ, ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਬਰਤਾਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਕਵੀ ਪਾਓਲ ਕੀਨੇਗ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਤਲਾਕ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
