ਨਿਧੀ ਗੋਇਲ
ਨਿਧੀ ਗੋਇਲ (ਅੰਗ੍ਰੇਜ਼ੀ: Nidhi Goyal; ਜਨਮ 21 ਸਤੰਬਰ 1985) ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਪਾਹਜਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਿੰਗ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਾਰਕੁਨ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਦੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।[1][2] ਗੋਇਲ ਮੁੰਬਈ -ਅਧਾਰਤ NGO ਰਾਈਜ਼ਿੰਗ ਫਲੇਮ[3][4] ਦੇ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਲਿੰਗਕਤਾ, ਲਿੰਗ, ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਅਯੋਗਤਾ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।[5] ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਸਟੈਂਡ-ਅੱਪ ਕਾਮੇਡੀਅਨ ਵੀ ਹੈ।[6][7]
ਸ਼ੁਰੁਆਤੀ ਜੀਵਨ[ਸੋਧੋ]
ਗੋਇਲ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਲਣ ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। 15 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਲਾਇਲਾਜ, ਅਟੱਲ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲ ਡੀਜਨਰੇਟਿਵ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।[8][9] ਉਸਨੇ ਅਪਾਹਜ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ-ਅਧਾਰਤ ਕੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮਾਸ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ।[10] ਆਪਣੀ ਅੱਖ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਗੋਇਲ ਪੋਰਟਰੇਟ ਪੇਂਟਰ ਬਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ 4 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਤੋਂ ਪੇਂਟਿੰਗ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।[11] ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਰਾ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਨੇਤਰਹੀਣ ਹੈ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਫਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ[12] ਗੋਇਲ ਹੋਰ ਅਪਾਹਜ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ।[13]

ਗੋਇਲ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਵਰੀ 2016 ਵਿੱਚ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਫਾਰ ਦਾ ਬਲਾਇੰਡ, ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨੀਲਮ ਕੰਗਾ ਅਵਾਰਡ[14] ਅਤੇ ਮਾਰਚ 2018 ਵਿੱਚ ਏਬੀਪੀ ਨਿਊਜ਼ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਸੁਪਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ ਅਵਾਰਡ[15] ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
