ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ-ਏ-ਮਦੀਨਾ ( Urdu: اخبار مدینه ), ਜਾਂ ਸੰਖੇਪ ਵਿਚ ਮਦੀਨਾ , ਇਕ ਉਰਦੂ- ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਬਿਜਨੌਰ, ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।[1][2]
ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ 1912 ਵਿਚ ਛਪਿਆ ਸੀ।[1][3] ਇਸਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਮੌਲਵੀ ਮਜੀਦ ਹਸਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ[4] ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸੰਪਾਦਕ ਹਾਮਿਦ ਅਲ-ਅੰਸਾਰੀ ਗਾਜ਼ੀ ਸਨ।[5][6] ਇਸਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ, ਮਦੀਨਾ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਸੀ।[7]
ਇਹ ਯੂਨਾਈਟਿਡ ਪ੍ਰੋਵਿੰਸ ਵਿਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਸੀ।[8] ਇਸ ਨੇ ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਈਟਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਕਾੱਣ ਪੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਯੋਜਨਾਬੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ।[6] ਪੂਰੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਉਪ-ਮਹਾਂਦੀਪ ਵਿਚ ਪੜ੍ਹੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਇਸ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਨੇ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਏ ਨੂੰ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿਚ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ।[4][5] ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਇਹ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦਾ ਹਮਾਇਤੀ ਸੀ।[9] ਇਸ ਨੇ ਰਿਆਸਤਾਂ, ਖ਼ਾਸਕਰ ਭੋਪਾਲ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ।[10]
1922 ਵਿਚ ਮਦੀਨਾ ਦਾ ਗੇੜ 12,500 ਸੀ। 1927 ਤਕ ਇਹ ਘਟ ਕੇ 6,500 ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ 1931 ਤਕ ਇਹ 6,000 ਸੀ।[2] ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਹਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25 ਅਤੇ 28 ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।[7]
1942 ਦੀ] ਪਤਝੜ ਵਿਚ ਮਦੀਨਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਲਹਿਰ 'ਤੇ ਪੱਤਰ ਭੇਜਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕਮਿਊਨਟੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਤ ਕੀਤਾ।[8]
1960 ਵਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਰੰਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਈਦ ਅਖ਼ਤਰ ਮਦੀਨਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਾਦਕ ਬਣੇ।[7]
