ਮਿੰਗਸ਼ਾਨ ਸਰੋਵਰ ( simplified Chinese: 明山水库; traditional Chinese: 明山水庫; pinyin: Míngshān shuǐkù) ਮਾਚੇਂਗ, ਹੁਬੇਈ, ਚੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਹੈ,[1] ਜੋ ਜੂਸ਼ੂਈ ਨਦੀ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਨਦੀ, ਬੈਗੁਓ ਨਦੀ 'ਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ।[2]
ਮਿੰਗਸ਼ਾਨ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ 1 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 1957 ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ,[3] ਅਤੇ ਜੂਨ 1959 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।[4] ਸਰੋਵਰ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਡੈਮ ਮਜਬੂਤ ਕੰਕਰੀਟ ਇੰਟਰਲਾਕਿੰਗ ਪਾਈਪ ਕਾਲਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਭੇਦ ਸੀ।[5] ਹੁਬੇਈ ਸੂਬਾਈ ਜਲ ਸਰੋਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਤਤਕਾਲੀ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ, ਤਾਓ ਸ਼ੁਜ਼ੇਂਗ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। [6] ਚੀਨ ਦੀ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਸਟ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਜਲ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਦੇ ਡੈਮ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਮੀਅਰ ਝੂ ਐਨਲਾਈ ਨੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਜਲ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਸਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਨਿਰੀਖਣ ਕੀਤਾ।[7]
ਮਿੰਗਸ਼ਾਨ ਜਲ ਸਰੋਵਰ , 182 ਵਰਗ ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਬੇਸਿਨ ਖੇਤਰ ਅਤੇ 169 ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਘਣ ਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਲ ਸਟੋਰੇਜ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਵਾਲਾ,[8] ਚੀਨ ਦੇ ਪੀਪਲਜ਼ ਰੀਪਬਲਿਕ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਹੈ।[9]
2010 ਵਿੱਚ, ਇੱਕ ਨੇਟੀਜ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਗੂਗਲ ਨਕਸ਼ੇ ' ਤੇ ਖੋਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਮਿਨਸ਼ਾਨ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਇੱਕ "ਵੱਡੇ ਅਜਗਰ " ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਚੀਨੀ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਹੈ। [10]
